The best time of the year: MSU Spring rodeo
April is here and I know we all love when Spring arrives. It signifies new beginnings and a way to start fresh for the summer. There are a number of different reasons why people love Spring, but in Bozeman, there is one that sticks out: The MSU Spring Rodeo. For 4 days, there is exciting rodeo action at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The MSU rodeo team as well as 7 other schools will battle it out in the arena. As a competitor, I can say the energy and power that is presented in that building with the crowd is in the top 5 of my favorite arena venues. This spectacular event will be held from April 13th through the 16th with more information provided below. This is one you won’t want to miss.
Now that I have told you about the Spring Rodeo, you may want to know more about the MSU Rodeo athletes themselves. MSU Rodeo is a highly renowned rodeo program that has taken home 9 national team titles, 34 individual team titles, and a numerous amount of Big Sky Region titles. The College National Finals Rodeo was held in Bozeman at the Brick for 30 years. In addition, the athletes are very involved in the Bozeman community by attending various volunteer events as well as elementary schools, nursing homes, and more. There are currently 49 athletes on the roster and they will be competing in three other college rodeos in Montana this Spring. This is a wonderful organization and the Spring Rodeo is something you will fully enjoy!
