Let's Rodeo: Professional Rodeo Action
Rodeo is a huge tradition in Montana and one of the biggest and most popular is the Bozeman Stampede! Coming this August 11th through the 13th, there will be three nights of rodeo action as well as specialty events! The most iconic one being the Bull Scramble. Six contestants are in a two lap race and every time they run past the bucking chutes, another bull is let out. If a contestant touches the fence, they are eliminated. The first one to cross the finish line wins a cash prize and a Montana Silversmith Belt Buckle. You definitely don’t want to miss the action!
Other traditional rodeo events will also take place such as Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Breakaway Roping, and Bull Riding.
